Third-party inspections

Our third-party inspection teams ensure containers are built using our strictly controlled, approved supplier list. We are present during all construction shifts, including pretreatment of all raw materials.

Raw materials certifications

We ensure proper materials are used by sending material samples to certified labs throughout the world as well as Niton™ devices at the factory. We require strict adherence to blast quality and shop primer coverage to eliminate early corrosion.

Monitoring of production process

We continuously monitor production to ensure assembly, welding and dimensions meet all standards.

Paint testing and application control

Our team ensures paint quality by performing laboratory tests on primer materials and Pulse Echo Layer Technology (PELT ®) in real-time to ensure proper paint layer thicknesses.

Extensive floor testing

We perform extensive internal and laboratory testing on floors to ensure proper strength and bonding to improve longevity in use.

Continual product performance analysis

Our overall inspection process and our historical analysis of container performance ensure all our containers are of the highest quality within the industry.

All Triton containers are maintained carefully to meet the highest industry standards.
Safety

We adhere strictly to the current IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors) Inspection and Repair guidelines and Technical Bulletins to guarantee our containers comply with all safety requirements under CSC (Convention for Safe Containers) and ACEP (Approved Continuous Examination Program).

Surveys

We focus heavily on estimate accuracy, consistency and fairness. We achieve this through frequent joint inspections and surveys with customers or third-party survey companies that customers have appointed. In addition we conduct audits regularly, including physical inspections of damaged and repaired units, photo surveys and daily estimate reviews.

Spearheading

As a leading member of the IICL we continue to work within the industry to revise and improve the inspection and repair guidelines and spearhead new approaches to the electronic transmission of gate activity, estimates, photos and other critical information.
