Triton Refrigerated Containers, also commonly referred to as “Reefers” are strong, reliable, well-insulated and repair-friendly. Their innovative design and low power consumption make them efficient, cost-effective, and more environmentally friendly than some other models on the market. When purchased new and maintained correctly they will deliver many years of reliable service.
Designed to be unsusceptible to wind, weather and vermin, Triton units come equipped with an array of features, including vacuum valve, T-bar flooring, interior aluminum scuff lining and provision for track & trace. With ample space for transporting large volumes of stock over long distances while maintaining a consistent temperature regardless of external conditions, our units can safely store many different temperature-sensitive goods..
With 1ft more height than a 40ft Reefer and a comprehensive internal capacity of 2,387ft³, new 40ft High Cube Refrigerated Containers are designed to securely store and transport large volumes of cargo requiring a set temperature between -30°C and +30°C*, including food, beverages and temperature-sensitive equipment. By maximizing their larger capacity, companies with more extensive cold storage requirements can potentially benefit from transport and storage cost savings when purchasing 40ft units rather than smaller models, as fewer units would be required to hold the same volume of goods.
Triton containers cannot freeze or reduce the temperature of goods. Therefore, the stock must be pre-cooled to the advised temperature before being loaded into units.
*Important: Machinery temperature setpoint parameters ( “or “settings” ) do not always mean that the required temperature is met inside the Refrigerated Container. Temperature ranges could vary depending on: Machine type, ambient temperatures and humidity, type of commodity and commodity condition during loading. Please get in touch with your local Triton representative for more information.
NOTE: The dimensions and door openings of all containers correspond to ISO standards. However, due to production tolerances, a difference in measurement is possible.
